Overlooking its magnificent harbour are the fine hotels, inns and resorts of Road Town, the Capital of the British Virgin Islands and its center of island life. See Map.

Accommodations are located in three general areas: Wickham's Cay near the Ferry Dock and Main Street Shops, Wickham's Cay II and the  Moorings Complex toward the back of the Harbour, and Road Reef, Ft. Burt, and Prospect Reef near the Harbour entrance.

Village Cay Hotel, pictured here, offers luxury hotel rooms at the Village Cay Marina right on Road Town harbour.


The Village Cay Hotel, with 9 new luxury waterfront rooms, has 10 affordable older renovated and air conditioned rooms with two double beds for groups of boaters and families (children under12 free).
Marie's By The Sea (494-2595) offers affordable rooms with kitchettes and balconies, some with harbour views, a pool and great convenience to shops.

Wickham's Cay II & Moorings Complex

On a hillside across the street from Moorings, Treasure Isle Hotel radiates tropical delight in its pastel colors like mango pink. A friendly staff, gardenside dining, and rooms decorated in Matisse-like print fabrics gains Fodor's "highly recommended" rating.

The Moorings/Mariner Inn, near the Moorings marina, is popular with sailors and others.

Road Reef, Ft. Burt and Prospect Reef

Fort Burt Hotel, an affordable and  friendly hotel with a fine restaurant.

Hotel Castle Maria has moderate prices, a panoramic view, tasty and delicious food--a great deal!
All rooms have refrigerators and some rooms have kitchenettes. The hotel has a pool and a bar as well.

Sea View Hotel (494-2483), with the most basic facilities, offers single/double rooms the year round from $55.

Prospect Reef Resort. Near the westerly entrance to Road Town, Prospect Reef Resort is an affordable, tranquil oasis and marina, 15 acres of tropical gardens and unique lagoons rich in sea life, offering the BVI's only swimming with dolphins, along with snorkeling, diving and boat tours.
